Puppy Mills
The link below will explain to you how these facilities are managed, or I should say, mismanaged. To give you the short version, puppy mills are dog breeders that keep their males and females in small cages with no comfort of even a cardboard box to cover the metal flooring in her cage. They are bred every cycle for as many years as they continue live. They have no medical visits for the dog or the puppies. Many of these pups are sold to pet stores, and many come with diseases. Please refrain from buying puppies from pet stores so we can put these monsters out of business.
PLEASE PASS THIS ALONG!
PUPPYMILLS
In The News
This Black Lab was abandoned by his owner without food and water. His ears are infected because of gnats. Someone should have done something sooner. I've heard that starvation is one of the most painful ways to die.
Farm Abuse
By clicking on the abuse link, you will see very graphic and disturbing videos. This happens every day.

Funny!
This is not abuse....this is goofing off with your donkey. I used the Amish farriers for my horses and he had this photo blown up and tacked on a board in the stable. He said this was his wife leaving Walmart.

barn-carcasses/Indiana
Please open this site. There are no gory photos, I can't deal with those either. It is hard to understand how someone could do this, but at least they are being charged with a felony. It's a step in the right direction.

Protector.
Some service dogs are put in danger every day. They protect humans and do the job they have been taught to do. They wouldn't think twice about dying for their handler/co-worker.
Abuse looks like this.
This is a photo of a horse that has been starved. This is very mild compared to other abuse cases. I chose not to share those photos with you because of the severity of the abouse. I can't stand to look at them.
